The BL5700 ECP series represents a medium to heavy duty lock where lighter duty locks just won’t handle it. Offering a fully clutched round bar handle, this lock can be suited for most different applications out there. As with all of the BL5700 ECP series, this comes with a key override built-in the handle itself.
The BL5700 ECP series combines the ease of use of the Easicode Pro range with the durability of the Marine Grade models. Undergoing a specialist e-plating process that has been salt spray tested to over 1000 hours and having all critical internals made of the highest standard of stainless steel, the unit is designed for continued usage in the harshest conditions. This offers a solution where compliance to the ISPS code is essential and it’s neither convenient or feasible to use a electronic or key driven access control solution.
With this, comes the Easicode Pro coding chamber. A unique, patented product from ourselves, this carries a “on the door” code change method, eliminating the 10-15 minutes of hassle and eliminates any risk of damage caused by a faulty code change. The BL5782 ECP comes with an internal push/pull pad for situations where fast and easy exit may be required.
Each BL5782 ECP offers a optional free passage mode, enabling a bypass mode to deactivate the coding chamber. Until deactivated, this allows you to enter without the need to enter the code.
This variation comes with a 1 1/8″ ‘Ali’ latch, designed for doors with a narrow door stile where a larger latch just won’t fit. Suitable for internal and sheltered external use on wooden, composite, aluminium and steel doors.
